I am always on the go. With as much movement as I partake in every single day, you would think that I would be super skinny. Truth is, though, I am 20 pounds overweight and I used to be 40 pounds on the heavy side. Thankfully, I have lost 20 pounds over the past three months. Let me tell you a little about how I gained – then lost – this weight.
I used to be really skinny, being in track and basketball and sometimes soccer. Once I graduated high school though, it didn’t take long for me to start putting on weight. By the time I graduated college, I was 15 pounds overweight, but I didn’t let it get to me – it was just the “freshman 15” to me. After all, I’m almost six feet tall, so being 15 pounds overweight didn’t look all that bad on me. In fact, I thought I looked pretty good with a little bit of extra meat on my bones.
After graduating college and working as a sales consultant for a technology firm, though, the pounds continued adding on and it was about six months ago that I finally said to myself that I had had enough. The button on my favorite pair of pants had popped clean off; it was time to do something about the round belly that formed over the past years. So, I started getting up extra early every morning and running two miles. No, I didn’t start out running the whole two miles, but over the past six months, I eventually went from a fast walk to jogging to running.
My sister told me about a fat burning pill called Ultra Omega Burn, and at first, I was really skeptic about it. I have never been too keen on fat burning pills because I know they can cause you to be jittery, but I was surprised after I started taking it. The pill never did make me jittery, yet it boosted my energy, and amazingly, during the first three months of taking it, I lost 20 pounds.
I am not all that thrilled with the thought of taking a pill to lose weight because I know when I quit taking it, I am probably going to gain some of the weight back, but so far the results haven’t been bad and I do recommend it as a great way to lose weight in a small amount of time. So, while the pills are doing what they say they are going to do, they aren’t something I will continue to take for an extended period of time.
